Weakness corrupts when people do not stand for what is right (I know, that can be subjective :))
Weakness corrupts when people use it for an excuse to stop trying (entitlement for example).
Weakness allows POWER to corrupt.
Both weakness and power have potential to corrupt the many so I disagree with the quote. In fact, I believe that mankind cannot be trusted with power.... which is used more often than not to hurt or corrupt the weak.

maybe the weak feel weak, so they want to be strong. they'd do anything to get that strength, including destroying themselves in the process.
We will feel it for the next few years. Hope things will change in 2012.
