How much damage does a pack of cigarettes a day do to you?
I'm doin a school report on smoking. Will smoking a pack a day cause you to get the "smokers face" or a lung cancer? What is the damage for only 3 or 4 cigs a day? Thanks

I am living proof that a pack a day is fatal. That's all I ever smoked but I am now dying of severe COPD. If I had to do everything over I would certainly not choose slow suffocation as a manner of death.
Every smoker seems to think that they can control it when they start smoking. No one starts out thinking they'll be smoking one or two or more packs a day. Three or four cigarettes turns into five or six and so on.
Your lungs are made of delicate tissue. Inhaling any noxious substance is harmful. Protect yourself while you are young and it will pay off as you get older.
in the long run both of those choices cause a lot of damage, not so much the latter.
