My Psoriasis has affected me for 10 years now. It's all over my legs and on the bottom of both feet. It's very painful and embarrassing. I've tried every kind of medication, phototherapy, tanning, salt water soaks and then some. I'm covinced that it will never go away, but I do need to find a cream or lotion that will at least help calm down the redness and itching. If anyone has any websites of information I can explore that would be great.
Thanks
Tom

I cleared my psoriasis with serenaskin herbal remedies (from serenaskin.com). I used ointment and spray on the skin and scalp, and took anti-psoriasis extract internally. This treatment cleared my skin just in a couple of weeks. A year later it is still clear. It is the best natural treatment I've ever tried.
There are lots of ways to treat psoriasis. Different treatments work for different people, so doctors often try a few to find the one that works best:
* Creams, lotions, and ointments. Moisturizers, prescription creams (like corticosteroids), vitamin D creams, shampoos made with salicylic acid, and coal tar can effectively treat many types of mild to moderate psoriasis.
* Light therapy (also known as phototherapy). Sunlight or artificial ultraviolet light can sometimes help treat the symptoms of psoriasis. A doctor may recommend going outside for short periods — though too much sunlight can make psoriasis worse, so this option doesn't work for everyone. Doctors may also prescribe special light treatments.
* Pills or injected medications. Doctors usually prescribe these treatments for severe psoriasis or psoriasis that doesn't respond to other treatments. They include pills, shots, and medications given intravenously. Because these treatments can have side effects, doctors usually give them for short periods of time only.
A doctor might try one therapy for a while and then switch to another. Or a doctor may combine different therapies. It's all about finding one that works for each person.
Sometimes what works for a while might stop working. This is one reason why it's important to work closely with a doctor. Trying out new treatments can get a little frustrating, but most people eventually find one that works.
Making healthy choices can help with psoriasis. Here are some things you can do:
* If you smoke, quit. Smoking can trigger outbreaks of psoriasis in some people.
* Avoid alcohol. It can make psoriasis treatments less effective.
* Eat healthy foods. Eating a lot of fruits and vegetables can help fend off diseases that might trigger psoriasis.
* Stay at a healthy weight. This decreases the risk of inverse psoriasis.
* Keep skin clean and well moisturized. Bathing daily with bath salts or oils and then applying moisturizer can help ease the symptoms of psoriasis.
People who have psoriasis may feel self-conscious about how it looks. That's one reason why some people turn to a trained therapist or join a support group of people who understand what they might be going through.
The key to psoriasis treatment is keeping up on whatever your doctor prescribes. If that means applying an ointment twice a day, then find a way to remind yourself to do it (like setting an alarm on your phone) so you don't forget. Psoriasis is one of those things that you need to stay focused on treating, even when you're feeling OK.
Hope this helps!(:
Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.

You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!
i also have psoriasis and i have been maintaining it with topical steroids (calciprotriol and clobetasol). there are no exact causes for exacerbation (i guess this is a more appropriate term than outbreaks) however psoriasis is greatly attributed to stress. so maybe at those moments you were practically anxious and got your immune system overreacting once more.
Hi, you can try one of the natural remedies available on the Internet - some of them do actually work. For my psor. I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: Champori is available online without prescription and comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn't work for you - it's free.
I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.
I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.
And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.
And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!
