Two feet? That is actually pretty large, considering the "foot print" of a mosque is usually at least double its height.

If it just has to be two feet at its highest point, I'd suggest making a tall minaret (tower) and the actually building on a relatively small (12" X 12" scale).

In any case, the basic elements of a mosque are the main building and the minaret (the tower from which the "call to prayer" is issued). They can be elaborate as storybook palaces to something a simple as a modern office building with a small tower atop it. I would suggest working with foam core sheets and forms.

Use the foam core to construct the walls and roof. A foam ball cut in half can be used to create the dome that is a common element in 'classic' mosques. Foam cones, cut and formed with sandpaper and knife, can be used to make the 'pointy' top of the minaret.

The use of foam core board will allow you to make the design as simple or elaborate as you like...from simple walls and doorways to the fancy crenelations and stylized archways of the more famous mosques.

If i were in your shoe, I would look for a box to use it as the main building of the mosque. Try to paint it with acrylic color. For minaret also you can look for 2 cylindrical useless stuff like paper tube or such recycling stuff. Again you can make it look better by painting it. If you wish to get a good mark, don't forget to paint islamic motif on it.
