How to transfer to Canada?
I go to arkansas tech university and I want to transfer to montreal in canada. I am so tired of how rude most Americans are, especially women here with their attitude problems and materialistic intentions.. other countries, especially canada are much more level headed and focused on happiness..their perception of lifestyle is much more applicable to my outlook. will my credits transfer? I am a senior getting a psych degree.. and how could I go about transferring to a university there without it killing my wallet? Please no bs telling me I'm wrong because I have been around. America is selfish. Thank you very much in advance.

Steps for you to get a student visa in Canada.
FIRST, apply and be accepted, with a "letter of acceptance " from a Canadian University.
THEN apply to the Canadian Government for a Student Visa, which allows you to come to Canada as a student.
NOTE, A student visa in Canada does NOT give you any type of Immigration status, at all. At the end of your studies, you MUST go home. Being on a student visa also does not allow you to work in Canada, except for 10 hours a week on campus, IF you can get one of those part time position.
As a US citizen, you won't qualify for scholarships in Canada, but SOME are available from select US foundations. You will be able to buy medical insurance from the UNI, that is designed for international students, and is cheap, compared to what it would cost in the USA. Obviously, over and above the actual costs of the courses, books, labs and so on , you will be required to house, feed and entertain yourself, while here in Canada. Good news, the cost of University course here are subsidized by the Canadian taxpayers, so costs are lower than in the US, even though you WILL pay more than Canadian does for the same course.
Now for some personal perspective, from me. Canada is a more relaxed and polite society, but we do have our share of idiots, so don't come up here with blinders on. We as a country are very used to "newcomers " of all kinds. My best advice is to "listen a lot , and talk a little ". Also try to keep the "rah rah America " type of rhetoric down to a minimum. Be the quiet guy, who asks sensible questions, and reads and watches the local media, to be informed about the place where he is living.

You cannot transfer you have to apply for a Student Visa in Canada and be able to pay all your tuition fees expenses as you cannot work while you study there as a foreign student. You also must have a place secured in a College Or Uni there.
