We have been married for 8 years, we have children, own our own home...I want/need a divorce SOON! Will filing for divorce hurt him immigration wise? How can I file without any potential harm to his status? By the way, our marriage had nothing to do with his status as a PR. He originally came here as a refugee, so his status has nothing to do with the marriage. I am concerned because I don't know if I have to tell any authority for the reason that I want the divorce. Help?
