I asked this question a couple weeks ago, but I don't think I worded it very well. People reacted pretty negatively toward me and I ended up not getting an answer. I'm still curious, so I'll give it another go:
I've been dieting for a while, and I was just wondering if it is possible to still lose weight if I'm only eating well. I'm out of state, and I'm not as able to exercise as much as I usually do. I DO still try to get as much as I can, for example taking the stairs to get to my apt. instead of the elevator. Will I continue to lose weight even if I can't regularly exercise?

I dont think you have to exercise...but that is only if throughout the day you are active...if you are a couch potatoe then YES go ahead and exercise NOW! but if you eat healthy and make healthy choices then i dont think its necessary but it will help with loosing weigh faster...
its not guarenteed that you will lose weight since everybodys bodies are different and work at their own rates or w/e.. depending on how fast your metabolism is and stuff too..
some people eat a lot and dont exercise at all, yet they are skinny..
while others dont
but exercise is necessary in order to stay fit and healthy
Those are good alternatives for excersize I suppose. Start keeping track of your calories/carbs. If you have too many a day, then you excersize them off that day. If you eat the right amount, then you don't need to excersize. But keep doing the stair thing.
no one asked to to setlle down at a gym...just 30 minutes of walking a day can do wonders for your health...dont look at exercise as a nasty obligation- just do this for your muscles...it strengthens muscles so that they stabilize the body metabolism- your health improves in various aspects like thi & not merely shed excess fat
yes, for physical fitness purpose exercise is very important in human life, it gives very dynamic, alertness in the body
you can still loose weight. because your daily activities will burn calories. but if u do lose weight it will be slow, unless your a really active person.
try running two miles every other day and doing fifty sit-ups ! five weeks and then out of habit !
yes exercise is necessary
