I felt a similar way to you until I left for college, things then got a little better, and then upon going to University EVERYONE was on equal footing. All of the ***** had gone in to their dead end jobs or claiming benefits and only the like minded people were left. University was the best experience of my life. Just don't let things in the present build up on you too much. As I said if it really is too much to bare then consider a fresh start at a new school where people don't know you.

If you want to stay where you are force yourself in to awkward situations and initiate conversation with people. Or, take up an after school club. Do something to force social interaction. As difficult as that might be, it will help. I have taken my own advice, in this respect (even though I am shy) and it has lead to many new friendships, and some of the people I have met in this way are now my best friends :)

nobody is born under the shining star, one must go through challenges before they mature. Read more book, learn many skills, you become talented if you know a lot of things and there are many people want to be your friends.
