Is Yoga demonic?
I grew up in a Christian household, but I don't call myself a Christian. Don't get me wrong, I believe Jesus is my Lord&Saviour. But I'm not a Christian. Anyway, I stated doing Yoga about 2 weeks ago, and I love it. I have noticed changes in my weight. In which I look smaller than before. It also does a great job at helping me sleep. But the thing is is that I keep being told that I shouldn't do yoga because of its mystical history. When I do yoga, I don't chant or do anything like that. I focus on God. The Bible even says.to meditate and focus on beautiful happy things. And that's what I do. I found this link online. It doesn't change my mind 100%, but I wonder. Is Yoga demonic???

I practice yoga myself. It does have some spiritual aspect to it. Its more about mindfullness and relaxation to be honest.
In all honesty the only thing you will be doing in yoga, is stretching, breathing in a certain way and being aware of your surroundings and self. I have been practising Yoga for about 8 months now.

Not Christian but you if you do stretching exercises for the amount of time you spend doing yoga you might get the same effect you are looking for, but you simply chose yoga stretches instead of the other stretches.Any excersise you do you will get an effect, so try pilates etc.
Yes, it is demonic, and even by saying the word "yoga" you have already invited demons to invade your soul. It is too late for you now - abandon all hope, you poor lost soul. You are now doomed to suffer eternal torment for your yoga transgression.

Someone needs to say it....its sooo demonic, right know you have a demon inside of you, eating at your body fat everytime you do yoga, you make this creature eat more of you.....when you breath in a certain evil way...you are casting out more demon seeds realesed through the air.....your health is geting better because thedemon is getting stronger......im sorry my friend.....
The only demons I ever encountered while doing hatha yoga were the many within me that resisted with all their hearts and souls that I should do that for myself. They got to be so bad at times that I had to convince them that I was practicing "Immobile Gymnastics" so some wouldn't lay that Christian type hate on me. It worked and I was able to stay focused and in union with what I was doing.
Only some fanatic Christians who do not know what they talk about will say such things! Yoga means to connect or to make a link, best with God
