Mailed package to Canada?
I am sending my friend a letter & a special cross I had to him in Canada. I'm from US. I went to post office & got the international stamp but when the lady asked me what was inside I said letter and that's what she wrote. I completely forgot I had the cross in their too. Will I get in trouble since I forgot to say about the cross & she wrote there's only a letter?

should cross (no Pun intended) into Canada with no worries if they want they can open it and see that it's just a cross and will most likely send it on it's way ask your friend to let you know when it arrives.
You will be okay. Canada Customs will not come to arrest you.
Your friend may get a tax bill if the item is found and it is $$$$$ Valuable $$$$$

Have a nice day and let your friend know a gift is coming so he can watch the mail. Give your letter 3-5 days to get to its destination. This includes the delay for the Customs Mail Room.
