I was born in NY as : Jason OldMiddle OldLast
I got married in NC and changed my name through SSA to: Jason NewMiddle NewLast
New York will not allow me to change my name on my birth certificate without a court order and are very very picky about their name changes.
Is there a way to change it? Does it matter?
Birth Certificate: Jason OldMiddle OldLast NC State ID: Jason NewMiddle NewLast SS Card: Jason NewMiddle NewLast
Is this okay to ignore? could there be problems I will run into?

There won't be any problems as long as you have proof of name change for things like a passport, licence etc. Like married women who take their partner's name its all that is required when the birth certificate varies from your present name.
