I was out at a park today walking through the trails with some friends, and at one point I realized my legs were getting really itchy. I noticed a few mosquito bites on my legs and ankles, but thought nothing of it since it was to be expected since we were in the woods by small water sources. They became more and more itchy, and by the time I got home I could no longer see the individual bites, but parts of my legs were sore, hot to the touch, and swelling in some areas. The swelling has mostly gone down now, but my legs are still warm to the touch and incredibly sore---even painful sometimes. Especially in the back of them.
I'm starting to think maybe it's a rash from a plant? They're kind of red in some areas, but they don't look very rash-like. The redness could just be from itching.
I work out frequently, and even after my more difficult work outs the backs of my legs haven't been this sore. So weird...any ideas? If it helps, we were at a park in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Update:Not runners itch. I was wearing sandals and a very light material dress. Not the best outfit for trails, but we were taking photos of each other for a photography class.

Why am I answering women human beings's wellbeing stuff now? lol. in case you shaved with a worn blade, it would desire to easily be shaver's rash... annoyed and probably slightly contaminated. Alcohol (faraway from the graceful areas) on a cotton swab would desire to dry out the bumps and freshen up the rash in below an afternoon. sturdy luck.
its runners itch. it occurs when the skin can't breath so sweat beads become trapped in the skin and become an irritant. next time wear looser fitting clothing
