OK so my dad is 61 years old and does not know how to act. He acts like a 8 year old. First He has horrible road rage And will obnoxiously Honk at any one who makes a simple driving mistake and will usually follow that person and honk at them for 30 seconds to a minute. Second He says very rude things to people in public for example we where at the self check out line at Walmart and they where very busy and we where next in line and the lady in front of us said she was sorry she was taking to long and my dad said " Its fine but any time know" and started laughing obnoxiously. also he is always posting on Facebook about recent shooting For example he posted something about how the school and students where at fault at the Florida high school shooting and he owns a lot of guns and is always posting about the second amendment . He is very rude and obnoxious and I do not know what to do please help

There is nothing you can do. He is an adult and it is not your place to try to "fix" him. If he does something stupid that is on him and let him deal with the consequences of his negative behavior. Only by having severe enough consequences even times will he realize that he needs to change his behavior. One of the things that could open his eyes is you having NOTHING to do with him...PERIOD. No phone calls, texts or anything
nothing you really can do,, most people like your dad are set in their ways an wont change for anyone,, but someday he will come across someone who wont take his comments
You cannot change your dad. You can refuse to go places with him and tell him he embarrasses you and disappoints you.
Nothing you can do but avoid being with him in public.
He's 61, leave him alone.
You do t have to hang out with him or anything if you find him obnoxious
I would not say he should act like that but tell me if you don't act much the same way. If you say you don't then I'll call you a liar.
He like many, are tired of the priviledged being allowed to denounce the founders of the republic, and is acting it out, more than others.
