Bigfoot, Slenderman, Proxies, Sasquatch, the Loch Ness Monster: all mythological or legendary creatures that are posed to be fakes or unreal. But is there any chance any of these exist?
Yes, i believe in the possiblity for mythical creatures and here is why:
1) animals know how to hide and avoid detection. This is why so many are not discovered for so long.
examples are:
a) Coelacanthe: this fish supposedly went extinct 65 million years ago. In 1938 it was seen in a fish market in South Africa. A museum director said it was a common grouper and tossed it out. 14 years later it was again found and this time CORRECTLY identified.
b) the Mountain Gorilla was known to natives but westerners refused to believe. Finally in 1902 someone brought out a dead body of one.
c) the Giant Panda was at one time thought to be myth. Do you know it took them 80 years to finally bring out a live speciman.
d) in 1992 they finally discovered a Saola or Vu Quang Ox thought to be a mythic creature
e) in 1994 they discovered the Giant Muntjac or Barking Deer
and i have to bring up the cupachabra which everyone now thinks is a dog with mange, but that is not what the true description is.
****Real description is Hairy, 4 foot tall round head lipless mouth fangs huge lidless red eyes the body small with thin clawed webbed arms muscular hind legs and pointy spikes running from top of head to the base of its spine.******
And most important let us look at the fact that in many places there are tons of things (like musuems, warehouses, ect) where things are kept or stored until such a time as they are "accidentally rediscovered" or brought to light to say like maybe , "now we have the technology to really study this" here are some excellent stories to prove my point
Also people need to remember just because there is no evidence of a creature is in fact NOT PROOF that they do not exist. It just means they have not been found yet.
Nessie: not a chance. They've checked the loch with sonar and all sorts.
Others: VERY unlikely. I'm inclined to say that they don't, because magic is simply bullcrap. I'd like bigfoot to exist, just because I was so interested in the case as a child.
A new species is discovered much more often than every 12 days. Especially insect species. They evolve faster, because their generations are shorter (some moth species have a new generation every 12 hours)
In some aspect, yes. Have you noticed each creature has an aspect that they represent? Even a rose means love. At the same time there inspired by what exist. Vampire's off of Dracula, nymphs off of nature. The term "Energy vampire" is used for emotionally draining people. Even the Greek and Roman gods symbolize specific aspects of raw human natures. Even if they don't truly exist, in some way they are indeed very real, in their aspects, representation and in our minds eye.
I don't remember where I heard this, but a new species is found every twelve days. Maybe they do or don't exist, who really knows, but because we haven't found them doesn't mean they aren't out there.

Most mythological creatures are based on a truth of some sort. Some legends could be cases of mistaken identity or illusions.
To simply dismiss years, and in some cases hundreds of years, of folklore and stories passed down from generation to generation is not being fair.
We can't see wind or air; but we all know that they both exist.

YES. Every "Mythological Creature" is real. No doubt. Expand your mind. don't be narrow minded. Everything is real and possible until proven wrong.
There is a chance. Gorillas, whales, squid, rabbits, and wildebeest were all once mythical creatures until someone discovered them officially.
