I haven't been to a dermatologist yet to be sure that I do have perioral dermatitis, but from the research I've done, it looks like that is what the result will be. I am a 17 yr old female. I have terrible redness around my nose and it is starting to come around the corners of my mouth and chin. I've tried using Clinque's redness solutions and it worked the first time, but now it has no effect on it at all. I've read that coconut oil works well, so I'm currently using that. If you have had this & would like to help a desperate girl out, it would be very much appreciated.

It sounds like you are being misled. You really need to talk to a professional about this. Using things like coconut oil can make your condition worse. You are having a reaction to something. If you wear glasses, you may need to choose another type of frame. This is reasonable that the irritation is coming from a pair of glasses. When you suffer from dermatitis the most important aspect to your treatment plan is eliminating the cause of the outbreak. So be more concerned about that. Once you know what is causing the outbreak then you can ask your doctor for a remedy.
