Does anyone know what programs there are that can help me fake some pictures?? By that i mean, taking a picture of me, cuting out the background and placing me somewhere else, like Paris next to the Effiel Tower or Egypt next to the pyramids (These are just examples).
Or to have a picture of me and someone famous and so that i can make it seem as if i am actually standing next to the famous person??
This is for a birthday invitation that i'm doing up and i have been trying to do it just using standard "Paint" program that comes with windows but its not really made for doing things like that and i comes out looking pretty bad.
Are there any programs that can help me do this??
Thanks in advance

This is best done in Photoshop! I know this is an expensive software, but I found a link on PCWORLD.com which is selling an old version for $ 49.50. I am not sure of genuinity though - but being on Pcworld site i presume it is okay! You can also try downloading the trial Photoshop CS3 from adobe website to try the software.
This process takes a lot of time and patience (also practise) Here's how to do this: Open the photo then right click on the background layer (right bottom of screen) and create duplicate layer. Increase zoom to 200% by using the control + together. Then type 'p' on keyboard and trace the outline of the image you want to copy. Then click on the 'paths' tab next to layer at right bottom of page. You will see three circles at the bottom of the paths tab - select the dotted line third from left. You will 'marching ants' appear around the selected image. Hit select>feather>2 pixels then hit control - J to paste the outlines part of photo into new layer.
Then open the second photo where you want to paste this outline. Grab the new layer you created from the old photo (both need to be open together) and pull it into the new photo you just opened. Hit 'v' pn keyboard then type control-T. Resize the image and move it with the move tool (V on keyboard).
You will need a lot of practise and then need to match the colour and level from image>adjustments menu.
Good luck!
yes there are but they come at a price of two to three hundred pounds so if you are going to use it a lot great if not go visit the places it will be cheaper these are proffesional programs not really for mesing around of course if you are rich then you can afford it. adobes photoshop and corel draw
Microsoft Picture It 7.X can do that.
Also play with programs that come with digital camera's
Adobe can do it too...but you'll have to dish out the cash if you don't have the program.
other copies of programs can be found on either www.mirc.com or limewire.com
You mean a slideshow video? purely get a project-loose action picture editor. like residing house windows action picture maker drag %. in drag and drop from there to timeline and strengthen to needed time length report save as and so on...
The Gimp is good and the best for pure editing. http://www.gimp.org/
Second I'd put Irfanview
http://www.irfanview.com/
then I love Picasa as it is *magic* for a ton of other stuff, especially organizing and together with irfanview and Photoshop I need nothing else:
http://www.sleekbytes.com/picasa-google.htm
then if you want to branch out Picasa's image sharing features, get 'Hello' and you have it all

if it helps please remember me cheers and thanks for the 2 points!
