I'm interested in people's considered thoughts on the man and his politics. I'm not interested in opinions and slander and mudslinging...I would honestly like to learn the pros and cons of his positions. They seem pretty sensible to me...but I might be missing something...
Update:If a third party is such a threat to the voting process...why is one allowed?

Nader did not hand Bush the Presidency. Gore had more votes than Bush even without those that Nader took away. Florida officials handed the Presidency to Bush. There, no mudslinging, slander or opinions. Just facts. All I know is he's always been for the people but also seems a bit eccentric.
Nader is an example of someone who may have accomplished something worthwhile at one time, and has done little since then. I do think he contributed towards Bush getting elected and is a bit of a pariah these days. Who takes him seriously?
SUPER: You will note this IS the general opinion of many people.
Do some research on this. Nader defends himself and a few of his adherents do as well but in the eyes of millions, he can not be forgiven for syphoning off votes in a close eletion - for a lost cause. He was like Ross Perot, only less crazy and more clueless.
Ralph Nader? Well, he used to be very serious - in the past! Now, nobody is quite sure about him.
This I know: in life, there are people who are consistent and possess integrity throughout. But sometimes people just hit a bad patch on the high road of life and become someone else.
Nope. yet I do think of that the two Obama and McCain are poor selections and that i'm unwell of throwing my vote away to a poor candidate. i'm balloting for Bob Barr, he's the Libertarian candidate. I definitely have inspired my friends am family individuals who've voiced disdain for Obama and McCain, to study the party/candidate they actually discover with and vote for that individual. So, I say, in case you like Nader's positions, then choose for it! BTW: for each individual saying it rather is a wasted vote: Having third events is what keeps our equipment extra uncomplicated. If extra human beings might vote for what they believed in somewhat than throwing their hands up and saying they have no determination, we'd stay in a extra ideal place. effect from third events have continually seeped into mainstream politics. effective somebody which incorporate your vote once you experience they do no longer deserve it rather is a waste.
Then all of you on this thread can chalk Hillary and Obama to the same as Nadar. All they are gonna do is take votes away from someone who deserves them, when everyone in the world knows there is no chance in hell that either of the two will be elected!
You mean Ralph Nader, the guy who helped Bush get into office in '00 by taking votes away from Gore. I will forever despise him for that reason alone.
Nader was a true crusader, in the day, but, he single handedly handed the election to George W. Bush in 2000 and for that, he needs to do some real soul searching as to how he changed the world, this time, for the worse.
I remember listening to him years ago when he first tried running for president. He came across as way too liberal to suit me.
He is one that loves to take away people's rights. He is the one that got the seat belt law passed.....forcing you to buckle up. He is not a credible candidate. I attended a function where is was the speaker. While at that time he had some good ideas....I have since come to the conclusion that he wishes to dominate and force people to do certain things.
How can any one take Ralph Nader seriously?
