Hey guys,
I interviewed Monday 13/5 for a job and they said they were going to let me know the day after but I still haven't heard back from them. Do you think I should call them? and say something like: "I attended an interview on Monday and you said you would let me know the outcome on Tuesday but I haven't got any feedback yet" What would you say to make it sound polite and show them that I'm interested in the job?

Personally, I think it is really BAD MANNERS to have any contact with potential employer's after an interview. It makes those you do look and sound like needy time wasters.
If you are set on contacting them leave it until 2 weeks after your interview - they could still be interviewing (for what ever reason) or having trouble making up their minds between 2 or 3 candidates.
Give them a bit longer. A delay could indicate you have been shortlisted and they may be looking more closely at your CV. I would be more concerned if they made up their minds in a day. Some companies take months to decide - Customs & Excise take 8 months to dig deep, the police need months too. Only burger joints reply the next day. The better the job, the longer it takes. I interviewed 300 people last year, some had waited a year to be asked for a second interview.
Well done for getting to the interview stage.
Its tricky as you don't want to appear pushy, but then again you don't want to appear uninterested.
As they did indicate a reply on Tuesday I think its reasonable to enquire on the Wednesday. What you have written seems perfectly acceptable.
All the best
yes, you can ask them if you haven't got any response from them.....
