I sometimes listen but I really can't stand to hear him talk. When he speaks it's usually the same thing over and over, republicans are bad (dems are good), republicans need to compromise (meaning: give in). He preens himself constantly, we're supposed to believe he's working for us, that he's on the side of the middle class (baloney).
I can't stand it when he says 'folks'. I'm not his folks, never will be. He's not my chum.
His phony "it's the right thing to do" makes me cringe because I know it means more socialist crap he's trying to push on us.
I could care any less what he says; I'm only interested in what he does.
And, frankly, up till now he's doing a lot of what people need. By people I only refer to the poor and those below poverty line. The rest can very well fend for themselves, such as violating city and county ordinances. bribing inspectors, allowing bad construction and using poor quality material--sometimes having those been bought with taxpayer money!
Hadn't come across this particular article till now, so don't know if it explains of the Miami Dace county commissioner "involved" with the developers (friends of his) and/ or if it says that part of the money for the project came from taxpayer funds:

No! I have better things to do than to sit around listening to someone lying.
Even playing on yahoo is a better use of time than listening to the liar in chief
I mute the socialist and have done so for the past 3 years.
When Obama speaks I vomit
I listen. You need to know how the idiot is screwing things up so you can stand against it.
There's no point. I already know he's going to do the complete opposite
Only to laugh at his lies and then shake my head in disbelief that so many Libidiots actually believe in this SOB.
I always listen, he is such a great speaker. ALTHOUGH NOT A VERY GOOD RESIDENT.
Yes, he's our president. Like him or not, he's our president, of course I listen.
