Well, even if she is 3 years old, I wouldn't discount your daughter not knowing. One thing is evident. The youth of today are a lot smarter than we adults give them credit for. Children pick things up from home, school, even what they watch on television. Now you say you don't speak of politics, and she is in a day care. I believe it has to do with the fact that the media portrays Obama in a large manner. Think about it. When Obama was elected and even before he was elected, everyone knew about him whether they were watching television or not. The fact is, Obama is just that popular and known. But again it goes back to children being smart and picking up on things very quickly. It could have come from her day care for all we know. The point is, she knows of Obama from somewhere whether from you or not. But at least be glad she knows because she is smart enough to realize that we have a president. Your daughter isn't unintelligent, she is at least aware which is a good thing.
