we have to write an ode poem involving nature but also incorporating a personal aspect. mine is fear/anxiety. but im starting to think mine doesnt even make sense
No, no don’t dwell with Hades as black hits
I was content beneath your turquoise thoughts
Your night sky makes me a bottomless pit,
Except for those intruding fears unsought
I gaze up at your gleaming eyes and stare
At their luminosity at its might
But your abyss isn’t comforting me
As I feel anxieties raise my hairs
The thumping of my heart gives me a fright
And hope your beauty sets me free
I stare out the window at your dark night
Copious droplets of rain fill my veins
Your ebony sheet is a weary sight
As my mentality begins to stain
With wicked water from the Styx river
And I ask Him to take the pain away
I look above to see your weary weeps
As the chill in the air makes me shiver
Like a winter’s eve, riding on my sleigh
And my fears again forbid me from sleep

Its a good start. its a bit all over the place. some advice i would offer is try not to do too much at once. if you are combining nature and fear/anxiety. try thinking of being lost in the woods when its starting to get dark. describe the way the trees and shadows change as it gets darker. play on the fear of the unknown and of hopelessness.
remember that a poem can have a story. a lot of the imagery and metaphors you used here could be part of a new poem. Hope that helps. good luck!
Sounds perfect! It seems a little dark, that is a good thing haha but i think your poem is nice.
Part of the beauty of poetry is that it doesn't have to make sense to anyone. As long as it makes sense to you and you love it then it's great.
