Asylum Green Card Process?
This is a followup question to a prior post. My girlfriend is applying for asylum to try to get a green card. She had a court appearance a few weeks ago. She wil have another court appearance next week.
Is it likely that the reason for the second court appearance is to receive the judges decision? Or is it more likely that it is another part of the application process?
I will ask her this but she may not be totally honest with me because she does not want me to worry. But I am worried about what might happend after the hearing next week.
Update:I am not sure when she applied. She is not with me now, so we communicate via IM. She types very slowly, so I really dont get to ask all of my questions cause it would take too long.
