Can I use my Canadian passport to travel to Guatemala as a US Citizen?
I recently became a US citizen but did not have time to get a passport. I have my Canadian passport and was recently asked by my work to travel to Guatemala. Can I leave and enter the US with my Canadian passport? Will this cause a problem?
Update:@Brother, how long ago did you do this? I never said anything about not having three hours of time. So, for you to say I don't deserve to be a US citizen is rather pompous of you. Rather un-American if you ask me.

As long as US is concerned you're a US citizen only. You can enter Guatemala with your Canadian passport, however you must leave US on a US passport.

You can get a US passport within 3 hours from the nearest passport agency. I got mine in 170 minutes. If you don't have 3 hours to get a goddamn US passport, you cannot fly internationally.
