I had a teacher who ate Cicadas Cajun style with all sorts of spices and the actual bug sautéed (?). Haha, think of it as a crawfish and you will be fine!

Mash em up add some flour, plus 1 egg for binder, some chopped onions and fry em as patties.....theyre scrummy.
I know a biology professor who eats them raw. Says they're very sweet tasting.
A tooth pick ,poke em, dip in egg,then flour,egg again,then bread crumbs.Fry for one minute.YUM.a little salt & pepper.
