I have a couple suggestions/ideas. 1. He might be too large for the condoms. Try a larger size, a Magnum or something. 2. Maybe he's not leaving enough room at the tip. The tip is a reservoir where the sperm goes...if there's not enough room up there it can split the condom 3. A lack of lubrication can cause friction, which can lead to condoms ripping. Try some KY jelly or some other personal lubricant. Hope this helps.
They don't always work. There's always the chance it's used incorrectly, it breaks, or there is a hole from a manufacturing error. If they do work, they do guard against HIV and pregnancy. However, if you want to be truly safe, don't have sex until you're married to someone you're secure with.
If they break, they don't work. Yes, but it's only about 98% effective. To be 100% protected from HIV/AIDs and pregnancy, abstain from sex (that means NO SEX: no oral, no vaginal, no anal).
They are like 99.99999999% accurate unless they break. Thats how i got herpes. He wore a condom and it broke & i was exposed to the virus. I did not know he had it.

They aid in protection but you have to know that the only way to not get anything is to practice abstinence.

RE:

Like do they prevent HIV and pregnancy??? Help I'm lost.
No.
Never trust condoms.
1. Condoms can't protect from herpes and warts.
2. Condom may get ripped, teared during sex
3. There might have been manufactural error and the condom might have hole, who knows

90-99% for pregnancy & HIV
Remember Ross on friends yelling "but that's they're job! to work!!!"
so no - they're not 100%! Use back-up pregnancy prevention such as a foam with the condoms
But you're still not safe from skin-to-skin contact STDs such as crabs & herpes
No on the package they CLEARLY state that they are only 98% effective. There is always that 2 %. Human error are the main causes and breakage.
