What you have linked to is a "new" copy of Obama’s “Certification of Live Birth” printed from archived information taken from original documents, and NOT a “Birth Certificate” or a “vault” copy of it.

The copy you show even has the certificate number blocked out/

Note - Hawaii allows parents who had their legal residence in Hawaii for a year prior to the birth of a child to register the birth and get a birth certificate whether or not the child was born in a state other than Hawaii or outside the U.S.

If you look at the copy of Obama’s “Certification of Live Birth” posted at http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/... (which tries to prove the authenticity of the laser printed version), save a copy of the picture from the site ( see http://www.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/b... ), open up the picture and enlarge it, you will see that the Certificate No. has a problem.

The separate picture entitled "Blowup of certificate number" on the factcheck.org site shows a certificate number "151 1961 - 010641. If you look at the certificate number on the Certificate of Live Birth, the first three digits of the last six (supposedly "010641"), do not match "010". The first and third digits are clearly the letter "I" (ninth letter of the alphabet), and the second digit is illegible (possibly an "M", making the first three digits "IMI".)

This is a non-topic that is brought up by those who cannot criticize him for anything else. He's intelligent, well-spoken, was editor of the Harvard Law Review and is married to the mother of both his children. How can you knock that? You can't.
