Public schools are an academic wasteland because of the parents.

It doesn't matter if they're rich or poor. Poor parents are the same as rich parents. They expect their babies to get off the hook every time.

They raised their brats to be tyrants and vandals. They expect to get good grades without doing any work to earn them. They expect to escape from any kind of discipline for misbehaving in class or anywhere in the school.

At the high school where I worked as a teacher, the principal called the students "gremlins." Because the little gremlins spent all day running around the school gleefully vandalizing the learning environment for the few students who were actually trying to learn something.

The teachers couldn't do anything about it because the principal couldn't do anything about it. The principal couldn't do anything about it because the principal could get fired if she didn't maintain a high enough approval rating with the parents in the community. Because the parents pay the taxes that fund the school, so they're the boss. So the parents made an open mockery of the public education system.

Public schools are a prime example of mob rule in action.

You will still have to pass your social science class. You won't get out of it this easy.
