Do STEROIDS stunt growth? NO BIAS!?
OK, my friend a year ago starting taking steroids at 16 and was about 5 8 in height, he is now 17(still taking them) and is 6 0. Now this doesnt make sense, because everything I know about steroids says its bad for your growth. But then Arnold Swartz. starting taking then at 15 and became 6 2. Now the facts on steroids isnt matching with the people who took them. This leaves me to believe that it is a huge amount of it is speculation besides the obvious facts of what it does to the liver and testosterone. Thinking about taking DHEA. Whats the effects?

Anthony is correct and taking DHEA won't do much of anything for you physically but it could produce a placebo effect. DHEA is produced in your body from testosterone and is a minor hormone which has very little effect. Testosterone is all you need in the way of steroids and you might not know this but it's derived from cholesterol in your body. (but don't go loading up on cholesterol) lol
well there are a lot of different kinds of steroids. we naturally produce our own steroids in our body. there are some specifically designed to make you taller, so no you can't say that all steroids stunt growth. but there are some steroids that do stunt growth. problems arise when people begin taking large amounts of steroids or take artificial steroids. these often replace or inhibit the production of your natural steroids, which causes side-effects.
Totally a myth, steroids do not stunt growth there is absolutely no experiment or case study that proves this... watch bigger faster stronger documentary on youtube you will learn the truth about steroids
