My sister, 20 years old, is suppose to go on a mission trip to Nicaragua tomorrow. It's through the ETHOS (Engineers in Technology and Humanitarian Opportunities of Service) program that she will be going. Many applied and few were accepted. The school basically paid for the students to go to Nicaragua through fundraisers. This mission trip will be 7-10 days long. My dad said she could go if he doesn't have to pay for anything which he doesn't. Today out of nowhere he was like be prepared to cancel the trip. He calls his brother who's a minister in Nigeria and asks him what he thinks of the situation and his brother said that he prayed and got the feeling that it was a bad idea for her to go to Nicaragua. Now my dad won't let her go on the trip tomorrow. How can my sister persuade him???? I think it's so unfair because he didn't even help pay for anything and he's making his decision out of church superstition bullsh@*. Please help

Doesn't sound like he's saying no because of money sounds like he's saying he has a bad feeling about the trip.
PS are you supposed to be a Christian? Your attitude is lousy! Are you actually online saying your church is superstitious? And cussing!? Cause God can't see anything on the internet?
What if your parents are right and something bad happens on this trip wouldn't you rather your sister was safe instead of got what she wanted? Who is it that you don't trust: God, your parents, the church? Wow.
She's 20 years old. A legal adult. Your dad isn't paying for it, how does he have the right to stop her?
