I used to work at Pier 1 Imports as a sales associate but am now trying to update my resume to apply for a new job as a receptionist Pier 1 isn't exactly a place you have many "accomplishments". The only one I've ever had was winning Sales Associate of the quarter twice while working there for 2 years. Basically that means I reached a certain amount of email and phone captures from customers and got a lot of customers to sign up for Pier 1 cards...plus just overall taking care of the store well. I don't have any percentages though...on "accomplishments" on sample resumes people have specific percentages like "drove sales 25% more than previous years" or something...other than that i just performed general duties..ringing up customers purchases, stocking shelves, cleaning..etc...what should I do?
Also..I worked (unpaid) at my grandparents restaurant as a waitress in exchange for my father to pay for my schooling. Do I put this on my resume? Would it be listed under Jobs or would I make a separate section about volunteering..or not put it on at all?

I would list the waitressing and list it under jobs. You did get a form of payment (paid school) for this.
Even doing some of your every day stuff that doesn't seem like a big deal you can list under accomplishments.
Don't worry about percentages. Did you help to open pier one charge cards? Did you do this on a consistent basis? That's an accomplishment
- consistently opened in store charge accounts to help increase sales
- Assisting guests and ringing up purchases
- Training of new employees with registers and daily store procedures
- Increased store sales with credit card solicitations
- Assisting in unloading & processing merchandise
- Creating displays for new and seasonal merchandise
