Most condoms nowdays have a "reservoir tip." It just looks like a little skinny extension on the very tip of the condom. That's the part you want to pich, so just pinch your fingers over that part, pushing any air out. The part you really need to pay attention to is placing the condom on the head of the member (hate to use lame romance novel lingo, but I'm not sure how mych yahoo will edit) right-side-in. You want the condom to roll down correctly. It should, essentially be "rolling out." It's hard to explain really, so try just rolling one out over your finger as practice. You should see which direction it's supposed to go so that when you place the condom on Mr. Happy (again, apologizing for the lame word usage) it rolls down easily. Essentially you want the "ridge" that your rolling on the outside. If that makes any sense. The package should have a diagram... I hope.
Yes, you could pinch too little, there should be enough room for the sperm, but not too much either. The instructions in the package should be more helpful.

Pinch it enough that there's no air in it when it's applied that way it won't rupture.
Just read the box.
if you know how to read there are instructions on the package
