So i am trying to lose weight (27 pounds) and so far my weight loss plan consist of working out 1 to 2 times a day doing the "100 WORKOUT" (if you don't know what that is you can Google it), drinking nothing but water and Eating under 500 calories a day. I already worked out once to day and ate under 500 calories (440 to be exact). I also plan to work out later this evening. But what i really want to know is if this is a healthy and effective weight loss plan. I have been doing it for only 4 days now and i already see some results.

No, it's not healthy. For one, you're not going to be able to keep it up, and when you start eating more, you'll gain all the weight back, plus some. You're slowing down your metabolism, and putting your body into starvation mode, making it store calories rather than using them, which is the opposite of what you want to do to maintain long term weight loss. I'd say 1400 calories a day is the minimum you should have in general (to be exact depends on your height, weight, age).
hiya, you will certainly lose weight by restricting your diet to 500, and the exercise. However this will just yo yo, no matter how you try to tell yourself you wont put the weight back on.
if you can reduce your calorie intake by 500-700 a day, you will see yourself losing weight, not have cravings for food and chocolate and feel guilty etc when you eat them.
Its certainly not healthy way to diet. You will most likely become consitpated, defecient in nutrients and vitamins, that could make you feel depressed and lethargic, you will probably really feel miserable and tiered. With that amount of daily exercise and foot limitation you could even end up in hospital with ketotic hypoglycemia, not good.
Best thing to do is:
reduce carbohydrate: breads. pastas potatos etc to very little
increase non starch carbohydrated/fibres to increase bulk so you feel more full i.e. vegetables
reduce fruits but take multi vitamins
cut out crappy fat foods, but dont deprive yourself completely of these.
You only lose about 1/4 a week more by eating 500 calories instead of 1000. Not worth it.
500 is far too little, especially if you are working out 1-2 times a day. If you deprive yourself of nutrients, you will actually do more harm to your body than good. Working out requires you to consume more calories than usual because you are expending so much energy. I lost around 60 pounds by working every day (1hr) and eating about 2000 calories (healthy food - no fast food).
No, 500 calories is too little to keep you running. You need between 1,000 to 1,500 depending on your age and weight. You should consult your local doctor and ask them what they think would be the right amount of calories for you. Quick Tip: if you eat too little everyday your metabloism can think that you are starving yourself and acctually make you store more fat.
No, stick to at least 1000 calories daily. Not eating enough will slow down your metabolism, making your weight loss slower and less effective
Yeah, that's not healthy at all. I'd say aim for 1,200 to 1,500. It may seem like a lot to you, but with all the exercise, you WILL lose weight eating that much.
That's too little. You need 1000 the very least.
No.
