there's this guy and i see him at least once a week and he's going away for christmas with his family ((i'm 13)) and we're not 'going out' but it's so close.
I wanted to get him a gift but i'm as broke as a bench at fat camp...
so instead i wrote him a poem, do you think it's good and is it a good idea? here it is:
i sometimes write poems
might seem kinda weird
but it's an okay gift i thought
as Christmas time neared
some of them are dark
for no particular reason
but this one shall be cheery
for the holiday season
you can warm me up
with your 'magic touch'
and you don't seem to care
that i talk way too much
basketball games
i just love to go
and chatting on IM
while the ground fills with snow
movie nights every two weeks
popcorn, soda, and friends
so much fun just hanging out
i always hate when it ends
so Merry Christmas to you
even if you're far away
Merry Christmas to you
well that's all i really wanted to say

I think it sounds great ! also good idea will be if u put the poem in his bag and add a red bow! so when he will get home he will open the bag and he will be surprised,or u can read it a front of him and then wish him Good trip ! that will be good idea! =] Good Luck!
That's really sweet, thought the present for anyone is a little uneasy. It really depends on who receives it. Thought I'm sure it'll be a huge hit.
