What is a contemporary review?
I have an assignment for my English class that is asking me to find a contemporary review over the book 'The Metamorphosis' by Franz Kafka. I have no clue what a contemporary review is much less how to find one. It would really help me if someone not only told me what it is, but found a review example for me? You will be helping out a girl to not fail this assignment :) Please & thank you!

A "contemporary review" is a book review written around the same time that the book came out (as opposed to a review written, lets say 50 years later).
So first you'd have to know when "The Metamorphosis" was published, then you'd have to find a review written and published (probably in a newspaper or magazine?) around the same time.
I have no idea where you'd find such a review. Sorry. That's your homework assignment, not mine.
