well heres my story. Im 16 and been having irregular periods since i was 12. The first couple of times i didn't take much notice about my period since it takes a while to adjust. But as i was gettin older my periods were be coming somewhat irregular. It was first month(period),second month(no period) and so on. But then it was like 6 months and no period. My mom got worried so we went to my doctor and he said it was because Im skinny and was normal. But now im 16 and last April i got it two times. In the beginning of the month and last. and then i didn't get it till June and then August. Since then I havent had it. My mom took me to the doctor again and he said it was pretty much normal, i was still maturing and to give it some time. But one of the assistant doctors recommended we go to a gynicologist (sorry if my spelling is incorrect). She said the problem may be my ovaries. And i heard about premature ovarian failure and i was wondering what it is?
