Hello everybody! Today I just got my report card and I have all straight A's except for P.E, a C. I talked to my P.E. teacher, and apparently I did not turn in my syllabus at the beginning of the year. I was very shocked to hear that because I am 100% sure that I did. I remember filling the page out with my parents and I also remember giving it to his T.A. since he was not there that day. The syllabus is 20% of our grade. How can I prove my teacher that I turned it in? Please help me!!! I don't want P.E. to drop my gpa down. Please Help me, I am very mad right now. Btw I'm a sophomore.

Here are some possible solutions, you can use all of them, or some of them and ignore others, or none of them (if that makes sense)
Here goes: Nag (look up if you don't know definition), find a copy and sneak onto his desk, find a copy and turn it in begging for forgiveness and a grade raise, ask for a way to make up for the grade or extra-credit (maybe even a paper), get the T.A. on your side and both of you team up against him on why that should not effect your grade or that he DOES have it somewhere, tell principal, get your parents on him (if they won't get other relatives such as Aunts, Uncles, or Grandparents), and/or finally you can tell him how it is that you turned in the syllabus and refuse to take any crap that you didn't turn it in and therefore harm your grade and furthermore your GPA
Hmm, it may be a little difficult because you dont have any solid evidence. If your parents remember signing it, have them make a call to your teacher or something.
If that doesnt work, ask to see if there is any thing you can do to make up for the loss, like extra credit.
Maybe you could ask for another one? Or get your parents to call him and work it out!
sue him! (not really). settle things......at parent/teacher conferences.
