Okay long story short. My mom recently got married to this man she brought from Ethiopia. So that means she is sponsoring him. Well, its been about a year and he's still not recieved a job. Instead he is using my mother. Wasting her money and such.

Well just yesterday he got in a physical fight with my aunt (who lives with us) and also pushed my mom.

My mom doesn't know what to do about the situation. Do we have a chance by filing a police report etc? We don't want him to take advantage of the situation and be granted money from my mom. Who really doesn't have it.
