The Republican party is leaderless.

First of all, Republicans do not need a stereotypical conservative; they want people to stop thinking of their party as consisting of old, babbling men. Their best shot is to get a moderate, and I think Mitt Romney has the best chance against Obama for that reason. Though I am a Republican, if we put somebody like Sarah Palin,or Mike Huckabee, another teabagger as our candidate, tough times lay ahead for us.

If the economy and war do not turn around, it will not matter who runs. Obama got in on anyone but Bush or Republican presence.

That strategy has not worked and things have not turned around so far.

The Democrats have run a progressive set of policies that no one likes.

We will see who is strong in November and than a candidate will appear.
