He can't control his middle name. I guess he could legally change it, but it just shows cowardice.
Also, if you vote based on the middle name, yes I am aware that Sidney/Louise sounds better than Hussein/Robinette. However, it isn't about middle names. It's about issues (you may have heard of that word).
Also, the name Hussein as his middle name is named after his grandfather, who was Muslim, and that is a common Muslim name. Also, I don't want any crap about him being Muslim. Islam is a fine religion, and Barack is a devout Christian anyway.
Update:Mr. Dean, Thank you very much for that advice. Maybe now would be a good time to tell you that I'm jewish, so that wouldn't fare well. That and about 54% of America voted for Obama, so I'm not alone.

Conservatives don't have anything else they can say about Obama. I think it's quite funny actually that the only thing that they can do is make fun of his middle name. When someone does that you realize that Obama must be a pretty upstanding guy (which he is).
Your question would at least have the pretense of objectivity if you'd asked "Why do some people call Obama 'Hussein'?" You really know NOTHING about the people who are doing that online, because you know nothing about *them*.
As far as I can see from the posts, 54% of the YAers on the Poilitcs board aren't getting bent out of shape because some people use Obama's middle name. So in that respect you DO seem to be alone - at the moment, anyway.
If that is the worst of your problems, you should count your blessings.

Because Faux Nooz and Wingnut radio told them to and that all Muslims are involved in a conspiracy to destroy white Christian America. Since Obama's middle name is "Hussein" that makes him a part of the conspiracy.
