Not everyone has good intentions and respect for others. This is like a public park..the jerkwads come along and trash the place and before long it's screwed up for everyone. But here we can't catch the little bastards in the act and wring their necks. So we're left with trying to block the fools.
btw.. We're enjoying a cool 96 (so far) here in Ga today..much better than the not-cool 108 a few days ago lol. Hope all's well out your way friend )
1 Because of the sock monkeys. II get some folks do not want their inbox flooded. Nor risk being endlessly reported. Then again----2 there are those who are flat cowardly superior. They romp and rant and act all righteous. Then go hide.behind the barrier and high 5 themselves. Or, worse- vaseline and a playboy.mag, Very lonely.......
Those second ones don't want conversations. They want a soap box. I think those are who you mean.
The trolls in the global warming section have actually gone through my Q and A lists, and reported everything. I had content from eight months ago being reported and deleted. My reaction was to block all of that from public view.
When a troll decides to harass me through email, I just block him. I have a few trolls blocked that way. And one idiot troll I blocked, because it was just too funny. Always whining about thumbs down and being blocked. I had to;)
But I want to leave my email open to the public, because I am always ready to be proven wrong. It makes my position that much stronger, ya know?
I set my Q&A to private because there are lots of people that will go through every question and answer and report them with 20 sock accounts. As we all know the YA! staff hardly ever looks at these reports but they get automatically deleted anyway.
Seems to kind of defeat the whole point but I suppose for those that intend only to manufacture the appearance of consensus on their extreme opinions, complete control over all correspondence is a necessity.
pass to Yahoo Profile. on the magnificent click the middle of three buttons that proclaims EDIT. on the backside there are slides by potential of the e mail addresses. click on those. it could instruct even regardless of the indisputable fact that it is going to likely be grayed out. pass to somebody else's profile and click e mail. it is going to inform you which you will not if it relatively is disabled. It won't permit you deliver one if no it is easy to deliver to you.
Is mine set to private? I never go to my home page so I forgot what I set it at. I don't use this account very often so it would be useless to allow people to try to contact me...

The report monkeys will get you.
I learned the hard way the first time on this site.
My email is available, but my information, and q/a is private because of report monkeys.
I'd forgotten what my settings were so I had to check.
Other than I/M, I'm open for business.
