Cheap Import or domestic car?
I want to buy a cheap import or domestic (ie Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Ford) car that can be tuned and easily worked on. And don't say craigslist.
Price range: under $500
And it doesn't need a engine or tranny

So you are telling us you want to buy a beater car but you don't want anyone to mention the most common place beater cars are bought/sold. What are you asking exactly?
If you don't want to use craigslist, try your local newspapers.
Well if you can save a little more you can easily find a fiero on -sorry- craigslist for 800. Ebay and the newspaper will be in the thousands even for beaters. A fiero without an engine or tranny would be 300 on -sorry again- craigslist.
