Depo Provera.?
Okay, so i've been looking online and i can't seem to get my question answered..so..okay. i was on depo for almost 2 years..and i was on the pill for a year before that. my last visit for the shot was in oct. of 2005..i've read in a lot of places that it can take..at most 18 months for your period to regulate..since the depo lasts for 3 months..that would put it around dec/jan that it would start to wear off...it's been over 18 months and it's still not regular..i'm not sure what's going on..i took a pregnancy test because i'm late and it's negative. i really wanna know what the heck is going on! can someone help?

I was on it for five years - was warned to come off because of decreasing eostrogen levels (hmm don't mind my spelling please) it took a long time for my periods to regulate and the dr eventually put me on the pill to regulate me as best he could. He just asked for me to try to work out when the heaviest bleeds were and start then...... I can only advise to ask your Dr to do the same for you....
